Small venue, very limited on space. In the past we’ve held the ILAA parties in the dressing room hallway, pipe and drape. However, w/ two bands using rooms and space it was impossible to duplicate. After having the promoter take various pictures of patio options, we decided upon holing our function on the stage of the amphitheater, located just outside the dressing room hallway. We actually received numerous compliments on our choice. The caterer was a big help in making it look really nice.

We got to bring the group over to Journey’s area for photos. Rick Allen asked if he could jump in the photos, too..what agreat guy

Tonight was a great party, folks were full of compliments. A couple of repeat fans were very openly singing the ILAA praises to their table. One brought her downloaded photos of her and Phil to show everyone, and Beci wore a def/jrn ILAA halter top (previously a goodie bag t-shirt)!

Everyone showed up!

End of a 3 in a row, phew. Party was held in the tent located on the backstage basketball court. Have to give ourselves credit on this one, it took a lot of work, but it really looked good when we were done ‘primping’ it up….should be an episode of “Pimp your tent”….the building thought it was the nicest set up he’s seen for that area. Anyways, I digress. Catering folks were great. We held the party in the backstage compound!

We set up a pup tent behind our tent, which blocked the sun and onlookers from band pictures.

Band Visits: Jonathan, Ross, Jeff, Neal and…..Rick Allen! He was our drummer for the day! All took pics w/ the 5* folks. And Vivian was playing soccer in the parking lot…without his shirt on, the ladies loved it. Plus, everyone had a feeling of being backstage.

Venue gave us posters for our group, really nice ones. We made an announcement at the beginning, middle and end of the party regarding picking up their posters, those who didn’t just didn’t want them.

Side note for the night…we went out to watch one DL song and scanning the crowd for our guests. We spotted 5* (name withheld!!) flashing the band while dancing up and down the aisle. Just when we thought she was done, her friend stood behind her pulling up and down her top in time to the drum beats, good times. Proudest moment was when the only thing covering her chest is her 5* laminate. No photo for the site, sorry to disapoint.

Really nice weather. Party in the usual tent spot, all good.
